Prior to founding Chartwell in 1994, Mr. de Lande Long spent his career advising entrepreneurial business owners in a range of industries in the US and the UK, and as a principal in various successful businesses. Through Chartwell, Mr. de Lande Long continues to advise business owners to help them grow their businesses and related personal assets, and is a board member of several companies. In 1978, Mr. de Lande Long was asked to establish Moore Stephens in the US. He built the North American firm to 20 principal cities in the US, Canada, and Mexico with 1,500 professionals. In his career with Moore Stephens, Mr. de Lande Long served as CEO, North America; Chairman/Vice Chairman, North American Executive Committee; and Managing Partner, New York. Active in many professional and business associations, Mr. de Lande Long is a Director of the British American Business, Inc., for which he held the post of Treasurer from 1991-1995. Mr. de Lande Long was educated at the City of London College and Winchester College. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. |
